Making a statement

NEURO

I designed this quote because even though we all know the clichés of 'why blend in when your born to stand out' and all of those similar quotes; which are inevitably true.

However they can be interpreted differently to an individual who is Neurodivergent.

Sure yes... you may not know because everyone acts the same? right??

WRONG because the ones we do see can't help to stand out when all in fact they wish they could just live life normally without their visible struggles.

BUT what if you question if they do struggle but aren't seen to be?

First of all everyone struggles and that in it's self is 100% fact! All struggles matter as well, there is no dismissal of that...

BUT IT'S ALSO IDENTIFYING THE INDIVIDUAL WHO IS NEURO...

From the outside they look fine SO THEY MUST BE NORMAl, RIGHT? If you agree with that statement let be help you look at it from a different perspective.

So if they visibly look normal, what about their feelings inside? Do they still have an encounter in all of this? Neurodivergents are very good at masking how they feel so if you see them as an ordinary individual, it feels comforting and it's almost as if DOESN'T MATTER about their feelings with their day to day struggles are; as their being seen by someone who appears 'normal'...

BUT BECAUSE THE STRUGGLES AREN'T VISIBLE IT GETS DISMISSED AND SO DO FEELINGS.

A lot of people who are Neuro see the world in a different perspective and often ask the question 'Why?' quite a lot. We may not understand the way a non-neurodivergent perceives life but a lot of neurodivergent people have gone through a lot in life to know how strong they are and how little they can relate to others because they simply don't understand us; and what we have.

That is the hardest part of it all- So we mask it and say 'i'm fine' because how the hell are we supposed to know how someone can help and support us when all we've been doing is living our entire lives being invisible and coped?!

Not everyone is transparent. Open your mind to the things you can't see. To the secret struggles people may have. Not everything is visible!

Perspective over Perception!
